Midnight Poems

Fragile disparity, the whirling mass
pretends a permanence, yet
too soon this secret becomes you
as Angels descend in dark tresses
contending the ancient fear
the eyes like flame as this scene of earth
dissolves into fragmented dementia
the semblance of every man and woman's darkest hours
absorbed in one thoughts
flowery birthing
(back there in the garden)
