Poems of the Infinite Dream-Face The Wind

And a soundless vortex
this is
where we want to be...
I rode the mtns. of a dying
planet, rising through survival
where dreams have made reality,
there is a strength behind your eyes.
to face the ancient knowing
and give the gift when there was
something missing inside us all
the air is full of unstoppable cries, reality lies, and
even my darkest vision mocks the brightness of every sun.

Intricate beauty,
the
web
of
time
only mystery or pain
makes the
game
worth playing.
faith walks the darkest stairs.
I lit a candle for
Rilke
on the anniversary of his death
the injustice of this reality long since passed
and you, the smiling
god child
holding the father's flowers in a
heaven that
you
invented here on earth.
And if I could "insee" your kingdom of death
like the frozen storm
which rages outside
my windows of desire
where God has walked, and is walking still
into stillness, each moment a projection
of a love which holds us both
in that space where I had met you,
this dusky dwelling place of eternity.
